This is a trout farm featuring a restaurant in the beginning of a trail to the Kaledonia waterfall.
The restaurant is huge and very traditional. It's located in the trees shadows near the stream of water, so it's perfect to visit in the hot summer heat. It's family owned and you might have the owners serving you dishes. It's quite often fully booked and closes early.
The menu is small and anyway you should try only the trout here.
This is a nice and cheap pizza restaurant chain with a few locations.
The restaurant usually serves take-away because of very modest interior. There's no service as such, you order near the cash desk and wait for your fresh oven-baked pizza. There's very little waiting time, but bear in mind there's trouble parking nearby the Germasoya Sea-road place.
The menu has all kinds of very cheap oven-baked pizza. It's classical, so don't expect aubergines with stuffed mussels.
This is a small and unique wooden oven pizza restaurant in Limassol.
The restaurant tries to step out of the traditional Italian pizzeria concept. They have different interesting pizzas made with real Italian ingredients. The interior is OK, a bit smallish and the service is quick and friendly.
The menu has different interesting pizza varieties, like with real Italian prosciutto, buratta or artichokes.
This is my favorite place for local cuisine in Nicosia.
The restaurant might look like an ordinary Giros take-away, but you would be pleasantly surprised by the quality of food, service and free deserts which they give you if you sit it. The seating is vast and usually full with locals, who are enjoying the Cypriot cuisine not spoiled by tourists, but enriched by marinades and flavors.
The menu has all kinds of Giros and is great for a first taste of Greek cuisine. They make fantastic, mouthwatering lamb, pork and chicken souvlaki and Giros, as well as fresh salads and equally fresh fries.
This is an old Limassol touristic place, but it's better than many of similar ones nearby.
The restaurant boasts a fantastic sea view on top of the cliff. It's old, but airy and clean, and the service is great and the food is fresh and tasty. The prices are lower than you would expect of such a place.
The menu specializes in fish but has all traditional Cypriot dishes.
This is an old steak house on top of the Aiya Napa hill.
The restaurant is a great place for the romantic or family dinner. The service is not fast because they cook everything fresh. But it's very pleasant and professional, unlike many traditional restaurants. Book in advance, though - it's usually fully booked.
The menu has all kinds of steaks and some interesting starters like garlic mushrooms in tomato sauce. They use local beef, so don't expect US Angus here. But the cooks use all kinds of sauces to make the dishes interesting enough for anyone tired of the traditional Cyprus cuisine.
This is one of my favorite gastronomic pubs in Limassol.
The restaurant keeps the focus on the food and the visit described in the original review.
The menu boasts all kinds of pub food like chicken cajouns (best in Limassol) and some wonderful, delicious, mouthwatering, huge angus beef burgers (also best). They also have steaks and one of the best bbq spare ribs.
The restaurant keeps the focus on the food and the visit described in the original review.
The menu is unique in the way it offers all the dishes in small portions for 3-5 EUR. That means you can choose any combination of your favorite dishes to build that very special meze suited only for your taste. Your friends can take fish, you can take chicken and you can share some entrees and still it would be cheaper, faster and fresher than a normal meze.
This is one of the finest examples of the Indian cuisine in Limassol.
The restaurant is tiny, just like your typical one in India. The service is super friendly and quick, however bear in mind they are the busiest place for the Indian delivery, so expect at least 30 minutes for the arrival of the first dish during the lunch times.
The menu is typical for the Indian restaurants in Cyprus. They serve all kinds of chicken, lamb and paneer dishes boasting with flavors. The prices are OK-ish. If you sit inside and look at the window with small buildings nearby you would be surprised how it smells and feels like so close to Goa.
