This is THE place to try the fish meze in Cyprus, although you can get some great meat there, too.

The restaurant is located on the beautiful White stones beach. It's better to visit it on the weekend and allocate at least 3-5 hours to enjoy it. You would prefer to start from relaxing on the beach and then enjoy a full course with your friends.

The menu is pretty standard for a Cyprus fish taverna. It boasts several types of fish and meat meze, as well as some other standard Cyprus dishes. If you don't feel confident of yourself or don't have enough friends to try the meze, you are still good to go.

Siko Seaside is one of the restaurants reviewed on Foodie.cy.

The restaurant Siko Seaside in Protaras is built for the Fig Tree Bay setting: stylish decor, sea views, lounge seating, cocktails and a holiday mood that works from daytime snacks to late drinks. Reviewers repeatedly praise the waterfront location and the relaxed, chic atmosphere.

The menu The menu covers salads, sushi, poke bowls, pasta, burgers, pizza, cocktails and Mediterranean dishes. The best comments mention fresh salads, sushi, drinks and generous portions. This is an old Limassol touristic place, but it's better than many of similar ones nearby.

The restaurant boasts a fantastic sea view on top of the cliff. It's old, but airy and clean, and the service is great and the food is fresh and tasty. The prices are lower than you would expect of such a place.

The menu specializes in fish but has all traditional Cypriot dishes.

Malindi Beach Bar & Restaurant is one of the restaurants reviewed on Foodie.cy.

The restaurant Malindi Beach Bar and Restaurant near St Raphael Marina is a beachside restaurant for seafood, drinks and long lunches by the water. Reviews often praise the setting first: relaxed, polished, family-friendly and close enough to the sea to feel like a proper coastal meal.

The menu Seafood is the strongest category, with fresh fish, fried calamari, Greek salad, seafood dishes and generous mains getting frequent mentions. There are also international and non-fish choices, which makes it easy for groups. The main warning is peak-time service: busy Sundays and holidays can bring long waits and uneven kitchen timing.

Chris Blue Beach is the sort of place I would pick for a relaxed meal by the water, especially when fish and seafood are the plan. It feels casual, sunny and easy, with the food matching the setting.

The restaurant It has a laid-back beach atmosphere that works best during the day or around sunset. I like places like this when they keep things simple: a nice table, a bit of breeze, and food that does not try too hard.

The menu It naturally leans toward seafood, fish, calamari, prawns, salads, dips and grilled dishes. I would order fish or seafood meze rather than something too heavy, because the location makes lighter, fresher food feel right.

Chi is a polished Limassol choice when I want Asian flavours in a more stylish setting. It feels like the kind of place for sushi, dim sum, noodles, cocktails and a slightly dressed-up dinner without becoming too formal.

The restaurant It has a modern, lounge-like feel, with enough atmosphere to make the evening feel special. I like it for dinner with friends or a date night, especially when the plan includes drinks as well as food.

The menu It leans toward Asian fusion: sushi, dumplings, noodles, rice dishes, bao-style bites and sharing plates. I would order several dishes for the table instead of one main, because the variety is the best part.

Afxentis Fish is the kind of seafood tavern I like to visit when I want a simple, proper fish meal near Limassol's Old Port. It is not trying to be fancy, and that is part of the charm: fresh fish, grilled seafood, salad, dips, bread and a relaxed Cypriot tavern atmosphere.

The restaurant feels traditional and easygoing, especially if you sit outside on the terrace. Service is friendly and helpful, and I like that this is a place where you can ask what fish is freshest and build the meal around that. It can feel busy at times, but the overall mood is warm and familiar.

The menu is strongest when it stays close to the sea: fish meze, grilled sea bass or sea bream, octopus, calamari, mussels, village salad, dips and homemade chips. I would go for grilled fish or seafood meze here, because that is where Afxentis Fish feels most confident and most natural.

PlusSea (Plus Sea) is one of the restaurants reviewed on Foodie.cy.

The restaurant is located right on the beach of the Amara hotel, just after Amathus ruins. It offers relaxing and cozy atmosphere and comfortable sunbeds, too. The space has been renovated in May 2023 and has been given a fresh look. They have lounge music playing all the time, which isn't as loud as in many other 'party' beach venues. The service is not quick by any means but it's well managed, just allocate enough time for the visit. There's a parking space just nearby, as well as free showers and beautiful toilets.

The menu is a blend of Greek, Mediterranean, Italian and a bit of Russian cuisine. It's quite impressive how they manage to take the best from all of those countries and keep the cuisine tasty at the same time. PlusSea offers plenty of salads, pasta, grill, burgers and the deserts are also quite impressive.

Chesters is a dependable Limassol option when I want a broad menu, a comfortable table and something easy near the coast. It has that established restaurant feel where you can go with family or friends and everyone will probably find something to order.

The restaurant It feels spacious, familiar and relaxed, with a casual dining atmosphere rather than a trendy one. I like it for the kind of meal where comfort matters more than novelty.

The menu It covers a wide range: grills, burgers, ribs, seafood, salads, pasta and familiar mains. I would lean toward the grilled dishes, ribs or seafood, because those suit the place best and feel more satisfying than trying to chase anything too delicate.
