Golden Monkey in Limassol is a stylish Thai and Asian choice that I would pick when I want bold flavours in a polished setting. It feels more special than a quick Asian meal, but still relaxed enough for a fun dinner.

The restaurant It has a warm, atmospheric interior and a mood that works well for dinner with friends or a date night. I like that the setting feels lively without taking attention away from the food.

The menu It leans toward Thai curries, noodles, stir-fries, soups, rice dishes and sharing starters. I would order a curry, a noodle dish and one or two starters so the table gets a mix of spice, sweetness and freshness.

The Noodle house is one of the restaurants reviewed on Foodie.cy.

The restaurant is located in the Old Town of Limassol, close to the Marina. It's decorated in authentic Japanese style with the wooden interior. It has an open kitchen with most of the dishes prepared on the wok. The service is quite fast and very polite. There's no parking nearby, so try to find a space before reaching the Old Town.

The menu is a great blend of Chinese, Japanese and Thai cuisine. You'll find most traditional dishes there, like Peking Duck, which is gloriously presented to you hanging from the ceiling above the kitchen, or Ramen soups, or a plentiful of Wok dishes, or tasty sushi. They also have a great and relatively inexpensive cocktail card. They have dine-in and takeaway options with some discounts, so a lot of office workers nearby eat their lunches there.

Lila Izakaya Bar in Limassol is a stylish Japanese-inspired spot I would choose for sharing plates, sushi, drinks and a more polished evening. It has a modern mood that suits dinner as much as the food itself.

The restaurant It feels sleek, lively and a little special, with the kind of atmosphere that works well for cocktails and a table of small dishes. I like it for a night out rather than a quick meal.

The menu It leans toward izakaya-style plates, sushi, bao, skewers, noodles, rice dishes and cocktails. I would order several small plates and share them, because that gives the best sense of the kitchen.

This is an Ayia Napa restaurant where the show matters almost as much as the sushi. Reviews repeatedly mention the teppanyaki chefs cooking in front of guests, the playful energy and the sense that dinner becomes entertainment.

The restaurant feels busy, social and built for groups. It is not the quietest Japanese meal, but that is not really the point.

The menu covers teppanyaki, sushi, Japanese grill dishes and crowd-friendly Asian plates. The tableside cooking is the reason to book.

The restaurant It feels bright, casual and efficient, with a modern Asian canteen style. I like it for lunch or a relaxed dinner when the group wants easy choices.

The menu It focuses on ramen, noodles, katsu, rice bowls, gyoza, bao, curries and fresh juices. I would order gyoza first, then ramen or katsu depending on the mood.

Bao Pau is a small Asian street-food stop in Limassol that makes sense when I want bao buns, sushi/rolls and something quick but a bit different. It is casual, compact and focused on flavour rather than ceremony.

The restaurant It feels like a modern takeaway-friendly spot, with a simple setup and a menu that is easy to order from. I like it as a quick lunch or light dinner choice, especially when I do not want a heavy meal.

The menu It is built around bao buns, Asian-style fillings, dumplings, sides and sauces. I would order a couple of different baos and one side so the meal has variety. The appeal is in the soft bun, the filling and the contrast from the sauce.
