This is the Greek taverna on the sea-road of Limassol owned by real Greek (not Cypriot) family.

The restaurant might look like your average touristic area taverna, but believe me, it's worth the visit. The owner and the other staff are very friendly. The service speeds are on a slower side so don't go there if you're in a rush. The place is clean and tasty so you wouldn't want to leave soon anyway. In the winter they turn the wooden log fireplace on.

The menu contains all Greek clichees - moussaka, kleftiko etc., as well as a great choice of the grilled dishes - both meat and fish. The menu is well-balanced and you might find yourself coming here for a few times to try everything out.

This is a typical meze tavern with a fireplace and a friendly service.

The restaurant is located up on the hill above Limassol. It's not as expensive as some Limassol restaurants and not so far from the town as some village ones. So there's always plenty of locals ready to enjoy dry souvlas, sour olives and bitter asparagus.

The menu is non-existent. You can only get a meze there.

This might look like another traditional Cyprus taverna, but it's more than this.

The restaurant is located on the cozy one-way street of the Pyrgos village. Keep in mind that there's no parking nearby, so be prepared to park down the street and enjoy a nice little walk around the village.

The menu is full of traditional Cyprus dishes. You can find mouthwatering moussaka, huge crispy pork chop or generous lamb chops.

This is one of the little available inexpensive options in the Limassol Marina. They have venues in the other parts of the city, too.

The restaurant offers take-away and dine-in on the big premises. The outside terrace is quite noisy due to the always-driving cars.

The menu has a variety of options for a quick and healthy lunch. It has plenty of salads (7-9 EUR), giros (4-5 EUR) and main courses (10EUR).

This is a place where the beach setting is clearly stronger than the food reputation. Public reviews are mixed, with plenty of love for the Dasoudi location and sea-adjacent mood, but less consistent feedback on the restaurant itself.

This is a trout farm featuring a restaurant in the beginning of a trail to the Kaledonia waterfall.

The restaurant is huge and very traditional. It's located in the trees shadows near the stream of water, so it's perfect to visit in the hot summer heat. It's family owned and you might have the owners serving you dishes. It's quite often fully booked and closes early.

The menu is small and anyway you should try only the trout here.

This is a traditional taverna with owners serving to the guests.

The restaurant is located in the Pyrgos village. It's very simple with plastic chairs and usually empty. The owners cook the food and serve the guests themselves. This is a place for locals who don't like loud city venues.

The menu has some local grilled dishes and freshly caught fish (even barbouni, which isn't on the menu).

This is a typical Cyprus taverna with dry meat and fried fish. No moussaka. Not worth a visit unless you live there.

The restaurant keeps the focus on the food and the visit described in the original review.

The menu is the best guide to what makes this place worth ordering from.
