The Queen Vic

This is a well known pub near the Aiya Napa harbour.

The pub is a big venue with three types of seating - indoor, outdoor non-smoking and outdoor smoking, and it also has a stage. They host various themed events every evening such as Michael Jackson night, Freddy Mercury night etc. One might think it's an ordinary touristic place, but in Vic they actually serve pretty decent food by Cypriot standards. The cocktail menu is also quite spectacular as one might imagine. It's usually crowded around 8PM, so make sure to reserve.

Indoors it feels spacious and airy

The menu has most of the traditional pub food, like fish and chips, pukka pies, burgers and spare ribs. It also boasts a selection of pasta and pizza, as well as salads, fish and prawns. It's really extensive and we didn't manage to try all what they offer.

Salads are juicy and flavorful

They don't use fancy hosper or sous-vide technology however they do have a decent grill and even the salad was really fresh and tasty. I would call it a blend of a pub and a taverna, with the better of the both worlds. The service was pleasant and friendly, however not very quick.

Chicken is so-so

Personally we've have tried salad, grilled prawns and bbq pork spare ribs. We've polished them with cocktails. The salad was huge, enough for two-three people, and fresh and tasty. The prawns were also delicious, although obviously frozen as in all Cyprus. The bbq pork spare ribs were OK, tasty, though not the best in Cyprus.

Prawns were great

The portions are really enormous. You can easily order one for two persons. The prices are OK, on par with other places nearby.

Pork spare ribs were OK

The score: taste 7/10, value 7/10, coziness 6/10
